Way realistic!

This book is about Alice's first year in junior high. Alice goes through many joys and embarrassments, including when she tries to set her father up with her language arts teacher, Miss Summers. Soon after Alice decides that she isn't going to have any enemies this year, she creates an enemy, a big one who bullies her and whom Alice is terribly afraid of. When Seventh grade sing day comes up, Alice is going to have to try to sing in front of a large group of people or get dunked in a toilet. Alice is determined to show Denise Whitlock, the bully, that she really isn't so bad and maybe even make a new friend. This is a great book for teenage girls to read!
