A reunion with Joni Mitchell submitted by ccrose on August 15, 2020, 10:28pm I checked out this and other Joni Mitchell CDs to play with a friend who has Alzheimer's. We are about the same age and we both were big Joni fans. It was a wonderful reunion. To go along with the music, I found a biography that was fun to read, alongside the years of music she wrote and performed. She was from an isolated, Canadian small town and she was what I'd call your restless daughter. She headed straight for Greenwich Village NYC just as Dylan and a bunch of others converged. Lucky woman!
The song I remembered best on this CD was Nothing Can Be Done. Lots of heartbreak.
