"Slice of life," but not my cup of tea submitted by Susan4Pax -prev. sueij- on June 11, 2022, 10:45pm I didn’t really enjoy this book, and I can’t quite figure out why. I liked that it gave me a “slice of life” of an experience that is worlds apart from mine. I think that as a story, there wasn’t much “something happened, therefore something changed.” The details given might be what a 19 year old would care about, but many of them were not anything that interested me.
