shawshank submitted by a2sue on July 19, 2013, 11:08pm the story of the shawshank redemption is pretty different in the novel versus the film

Excellent submitted by TLW1998 on July 26, 2019, 9:16pm 2 all-time great movies came out of this book: Stand by Me and Shawshank Redemption

Three novellas and a short story submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on June 25, 2020, 12:07am Though King is famous for the horror genre, he has produced a substantial quantity outside of the genre. Different Seasons is a collection of four novellas. Three of them have nothing to do with the supernatural. Two of them were adapted into top-tier King movies (Shawshank Redemption and Stand By Me.) This tome gives a sense of how adoringly King can portray in his characters.

Classic Stephen King submitted by lizgiessner on August 11, 2023, 2:10pm Though these are not horror stories, King's style is consistent with his other work. He is a great storyteller.
