Dark Side of Local History submitted by jaegerla on January 31, 2011, 12:17pm This was an extremely informative telling of the Co-Ed murders in the late 1960's. Before moving to this area I heard rumors that there had been a serial killer here in the past but I never looked into it on my own. This book gives all of the gruesome details but in such a methodical way and with so much respect for the victims and their families that it was a good read. Of course, the subject matter was shocking and horrific, but the authors rational description of the events gave the book an air of calm.
Good but could be better submitted by mickplu on July 8, 2016, 1:23pm When I first read this book, I thought it was great. Then, later I did some research myself and attended lectures by others, read other books and realized many mistakes that the author made in the writing. Since the author used pseudonyms for the killer, all the victims, etc. it makes it confusing at first.
