Beautiful! submitted by rimpopu on July 12, 2013, 11:52pm It is a beautiful story of a lonely bird who searches for a mother. He asks different animals if she is his mother based on common characteristics such as yellow color, big round cheeks, stripped feet, etc. He gets sad when no one says yes. He finally finds the love and warmth of a mother in an animal who looks nothing like him. It is heart warming story perfect for young children to understand about adoption. The story starts with a sad note but ends with a happy note which makes the children feel good about reading it. I would recommend this book to all children as it teaches them in simple words why they or their family member or their friend looks different from rest of the family, and that it is still a loving family as any other.

Adorable submitted by sumisood on February 9, 2019, 7:33am A very sweet story about making a family with people who love you, not just because they look like you.
