A Love Story Woven with a Passionate Montage of Life in Fifteenth-century Paris submitted by sVfGI7Glt2pz7GZgVB90 on August 17, 2019, 11:41am Story of Quasimodo, an orphaned Notre Dame bell ringer who hides his grotesque, hunchbacked figure away from prying Parisian eyes. He is tasked with kidnapping the beautiful gypsy Esmeralda who dances on the square below the cathedral. Quasimodo is brutally flogged in the act, he is tended to by Esmeralda, who gives him water. From this point on, Quasimodo is hopelessly devoted to her. Read the rest of this story of redemption through love. Bonus: two chapters are dedicated to the Gothic church, bringing the reader into the very essence of Cathédrale Notre Dame. Heartbreaking that it sustained serious damage this year.
