Standout Final Track submitted by Meginator on July 12, 2019, 11:19pm This album features layered, slow-paced electronica with a focus on repeating melodic elements that slowly evolve over textured ambient backgrounds. The balance between tracks is excellent, with enough differences between them to keep things interesting but enough consistency to provide a cohesive listening experience. The overall vibe is quite dreamy apart from the final track, which features a folky electronic guitar at the forefront and is enough on its own to bump this up from a 3-star to 4-star for me. I didn’t hear anything extraordinary here, but the music held my interest more effectively than a lot of similar albums, and that counts for something.
