COMMUNITY REVIEWS

family growth submitted by jackson.sarah.jean on March 15, 2016, 7:33pm This is a beautiful book about a grandma who is making a quilt. This grandma teaches her granddaughter about the time and patience it takes to make a quilt. The daughter (of the grandma) is distant at the beginning and sees this activity as a waste of time. As the story continues the family comes together around these quilts and becomes tied into the quilt. The grandma’s health is declining and the granddaughter grows and takes on more responsibility with this family quilt. In the end you see a beautiful quilt and growth and unity that have come from it. This book is long and requires a little more patience to get through it.
