COMMUNITY REVIEWS
Historical look at Frank Murphy as Mayor of Detroit submitted by kossjoe1999 on July 25, 2020, 11:17pm Frank Murphy grew up in my hometown and was always interested in learning more about him. I found it very insightful his politics and how he was able to build different programs in the City of Detroit as the mayor. He would have a very storied career in the State of Michigan as the Governor along with being named to the U.S. Supreme Court and Attorney General. This book focused on how he handled being the Mayor of Detroit during the Great Depression and keeping the lights on.
