Negative Space submitted by Fevvers - STAR473 on June 17, 2014, 7:59am Erickson found little enough to work with, but it is still an interesting read for those very interested in the life and times of Anne Boleyn. Unfortunately, it is also a frustrating one, due to the dearth of information about Anne's personal life. There are some concrete facts, but much of the book is extrapolation and theory. Anne's age, her travels, her lifestyle - much is based on indirect sources, such as general information about other members of her family and what was normal for the era in which she lived. The book circles around Anne; there is a lot of use of "probably" and "likely" which does not make for a smooth read. It is worth at least skimming, though, for those looking to learn just a little more about Anne Boleyn.
