Great Mystery submitted by SarahRose on October 30, 2007, 7:25am Be sure to check out the movie with Elizabeth Taylor as Marina Gregg.

Solid submitted by kathscot on August 19, 2013, 7:06pm Although mostly home bound, Miss Marple is as sharp as ever. A woman is poisoned but was she the intended victim? A solid part of the series.
Also nicely brought to the screen by Joan Hickson in Agatha Christie's Miss Marple, volume 1 available from the library.

An enjoyable, later Miss Marple submitted by LibraryMaven on July 29, 2014, 8:23am I thoroughly enjoyed this Miss Marple mystery- it is certainly set later in Miss Marple's life and in the societal upheaval of the early1960s. Christie does an excellent job of portraying both the indignities of old age and a protagonist who refuses to be shocked by the changes in society. Jane Marple proves in the end that however much things change, human nature is much the same as it ever was.
