Come on now submitted by amym on August 7, 2015, 5:03pm Mama Bear wouldn't recognize fun if it bit her. Papa Bear has all the emotional maturity of a puppy. How did those two ever get married? This has to be the most sanctimonious series of books I've ever read. Luckily my kids didn't like them either.

Papa bear is a dufus submitted by EllieN-W on August 14, 2015, 8:45pm but it helps kids see what their behavior might really be like.

Forget Their Manners submitted by SBNB on August 21, 2017, 2:48pm This is a pretty good Berenstain Bears book.

Classic submitted by blue77rose on July 7, 2018, 3:15pm My kids enjoyed it and learned a few things, too.

Good for little ones submitted by Rumshaker13 on July 26, 2018, 2:02pm Great way to talk about manners with kids

I do not like their manners. submitted by Maysie-library on August 30, 2018, 4:27pm I do not like their manners.

Nice addition to the series! submitted by wookeny on June 24, 2019, 1:59pm The bears forget about their manners and then they have to learn it again! I love these series, because every book teaches you a lesson. The series are very easy to read and little kids can also read it too!

preachy-keen submitted by FordAlpha on August 17, 2019, 11:33am The earliest Berenstain Bears books are silly, childlike fun, but the series quickly turned to preachy life lessons. "Forget Their Manners" is among the most memorable of the many that I read as a kid, so it's one of a few that I have read to my own kids. As a parent, I didn't care for Papa Bear's loutish behavior, although kids are well aware of their own parents' failings and probably appreciate the depiction of an imperfect parent who needs as many reminders as the kids do. Anyway, my kids weren't much impressed, so we only read it once.

Good book submitted by MMCochran on July 20, 2020, 9:07pm I like how this book teaches a lesson. You need to have good manners (Margaret, age 7).

Great way to talk about manners submitted by whitta151 on August 4, 2020, 7:46pm Great way to talk about manners with your kids, however my kids think this books is all about scolding children.
