love submitted by ftan on July 17, 2012, 9:26am i love the beatles. too bad this album was made right before they broke up.
Their Swan Song submitted by Luisa Scavo on July 24, 2014, 8:47am Although Let it Be came out afterward, Abbey Road was recorded last and, in many ways, it shows. All of the tension and separatism that plagued the band's later albums is nowhere to be found here, replaced with compromise, beautiful harmony, and a great sense of release. They loved each other. It was time to move on.
Great last album/sign of things to come submitted by andrewjmac on August 19, 2014, 2:25pm This album is one of their best, with great songs throughout. The last half of the album is a set of short songs woven together in a fantastic medley. It points to work Paul McCartney would later continue on great albums like Band on the Run. A must for any collection, and more worth it for the songs you don't know than that ones you do.
Classic submitted by chowcy on June 26, 2015, 11:41am The Beatles is one of those classic bands that, despite having written these songs many years ago and doubtless imitated by other artists, still sound very original. Abbey Road is a wonderful album of songs that each have their own unique unf and atmosphere that separate it from the other songs. My favourites: Maxwell's Silver Hammer, and I Want You (possibly one of the first doom songs), but all the songs on this album are great.

b-side wins again submitted by tisaallen on June 15, 2022, 10:02am The medley on the second half of the album is great. This would have been a fitting end to the Beatles catalog but they came out with the flawed Let It Be afterward.
The best submitted by wilcomea on July 19, 2022, 4:07pm The transitions on this album are perfect. So satisfying to hear in order.
