Excellent book -- NON-FICTION

This is a great book. However, it is misleading and incorrect to label this as fiction. It says right on the first page that this is a NON-FICTION book. Every teenager should read this -- coming from a teenager myself. This book deserves much more recognition. If you liked The Perks of Being a Wallflower, you'll like this.

Please move this to the NON-FICTION section, AADL.

Alice, you've taught us

Taken from a girl's diary--this is NOT fiction--Go Ask Alice shows how easy one can become addicted to drugs and how difficult it can be to stay sober when surrounded by drug addicts. Encourage your friends to read this book. It's heart-wrenching and beautiful.

Great book, in a silly way

How was this ever taken seriously? Nonetheless, it's a gripping piece of fiction. More so since the rhetorical techniques ("Now I'm slipping away, but I'm still writing this...") are so wooden and heavy.
