07-080 IV. VOTE TO AMEND AGENDA

Vice President Head, supported by Trustee Cahill moved to amend the Agenda to remove bid #2C, Landscaping from the resolution to accept recommendations from O’Neal Construction to award contracts to perform work for the Northeast Branch.

AYES: Barney Newman, Cahill, Greene, Head, Leary, Surovell
NAYES: None

Motion passed 6-0.

07-081 V. AWARD BIDS FOR NORTHEAST BRANCH

07-082 A. RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT RECOMMENDATIONS FROM O’NEAL CONSTRUCTION TO AWARD CONTRACTS TO PERFORM WORK FOR THE NORTHEAST BRANCH PROJECT

Vice President Head, supported by Trustee Cahill, moved that O’Neal Construction’s recommendation to award contracts for (2A, 3A & 3B) earthwork/utilities/concrete/flatwork to JC Holly, (2B) asphalt paving to Nagle, (3C) precast concrete planks to Kerkstra/Spancrete, (4A & 9E) masonry and painting to Interior/Exterior Specialists, (5A) structural & misc. metals to Valley Steel, (6A) carpentry & cement board panels to Kosorski & Co., (6B & 6D) harvested wood & fabrication to Johnson Hardwood, (6C) general trades to Brunt Associates, (7A) waterproofing & joint sealers to Michigan Restoration, (7B) roofing & sheet metal to Christen Detroit, (7C) metal panel siding to Reliable Sheet Metal, (8A) doors, frames & hardware to LaForce, (8B) glass & aluminum to Edwards Glass, (9A) drywall & acoustical to Ann Arbor Ceiling and Partition, (9B) carpet to Tristate Industrial, (9C) tile to Marble Restoration, (10A) toilet partitions to Ann Arbor Commercial, (10B) flagpole to Delta Construction, (12A) motorized roller shades to Decorative Flooring, (13A) fire protection to Interstate Fire Protection, (14A) elevator to Schindler, (15A) plumbing to Oakland Plumbing, (15B) HVAC to Al Walk, and (16A) electrical to A.F. Smith be accepted.
