Fire-Damaged Municipal Court Building Being Demolished
Caption: Court Building Crumbles: Mid-American Wrecking Corp.'s crane has arrived on the scene to help with the demolition of the fire-damaged and vacant Municipal Court Building at 104 to 112 W. Huron. The contractor hopes to have the work finished by Christmas, weather and other conditions permitting. Until then, barricades will prevent pedestrians from walking in the area and the south-bound land of the 100 block of Main Street and the west-bound lane of the 100 block of W. Huron Street will be closed to traffic periodically. No plans have been announced for the site.
