This is a time for babies up to 24 months and their grown-ups to gather and play. The Library will provide the space and a variety of toys.

Each playgroup includes 15 minutes of stories, rhymes and songs. Parents/guardians must remain with their children.

How To Make Your Own Dog Treats with Amy Samida, Owner of the Naughty Dog Café & Alice Liberson, Owner of Dogma Catmantoo

Sunday July 13, 2008: 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm -- Pittsfield Branch: Program Room

Amy Samida, owner of the dog treat bakery Naughty Dog Café, will demonstrate how to mix and bake easy (and very forgiving) tasty treats for your pooch! Alice Liberson, DVM, will assist. They will also decorate pre-baked treats and discuss overall healthy eating for dogs. And here's a treat: Everyone will leave with dough or a bag of mix to bake at home, and the "cookies" they've decorated. All ages are invited.

Re-use common materials such as pop cans and cereal boxes to make your own monster truck.

Join us for these Monday sessions, where prizes will we awarded each session to the top three finishers. Bring your Nintendo DS and your copy of Pokémon Diamond or Pearl to battle – or use our DS and house Pokémon. Additional PokéMonday: Monday, July 28, 1 – 5 pm at the Malletts Creek Branch.
